Welcome to the  Junior Basketball Academy League(JBA)!  Coach Romulo Roldan and Coach John Pleasant are excited to collaborate together and bring a competitive basketball league to the Rochester area.  Both coach Roldan and coach Pleasant have heard over and over from parents in the community that they were looking for a competitive basketball league for their child, without having to make the commitment to AAU basketball.  We are pleased to announce that we have started a league that we believe is the middle ground for kids in the Rochester and surrounding areas.  The mission of the league is to be more competitive than beginner leagues while not having to make the jump all the way to travel basketball.  We will have the following divisions for the winter League 1st/2nd coed, 3rd/4th, 5th/6th and 7th/8th.  Participants will practice for 45 minutes and play 1 game every Saturday (games consist of two 20 minute halves) and high school rules will apply.  JBA Leagues will supply a court supervisor to support our volunteer coaches throught live game situations.  The winter session for JBA will be 8 weeks long, with the 8th week serving as our playoffs.  Week 8 each team will play two games and will not have a practice on this date.  The JBA league is a total of $200, which includes 7 practices, 9 games.  If you do not have a NIKE reversible jersey top you can order one for $30.
